By reading personal development books I found many very useful strategies which have helped me on my quest for success in life, business and trading.
There is actually a very simple strategy which I found not too long ago and started to apply to my life.
The strategy is actually so powerful it plays with my subconscious mind, which in return allows me to increase my faith in my future and by doing so I get the motivation to take action.
The most powerful form of action you can take is when you have "Faith In Action.".
So, what is this powerful goal setting strategy?
I started developing the habit of writing my goals down twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, when I say writing my goals down I do not just mean I write them down, but I write them in the past tense.
Here is how it started:
My trading is selective and I focus on weekly compounded profits. I only trade the PM trading setups and I am very successful.
The PipsMatter Community is growing weekly and everyone who joins is ecstatic with the knowledge they recieve and the success they are generating.
I earn a minimum of 20,000 a month from trading and services rendered with PipsMatter
These are just some examples of the goals I’m working on daily and by writing them down twice a day as though they’re already accomplished I gain the necessary faith to keep pursuing them.
I connect this to future pacing... so when I finish writing them down I look into the future and see these goals being achieved... I live it and experience it before I achieve them...
I once read a quote that went like this,
"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
And if you read any of the religious books of the world... or study the successful men and women that walked or walk this earth, you will find one common trait they all posses... and that is their attitude, which directly comes from USING THEIR MIND and having FAITH.
You can fill your goal sheet with whatever you want, it doesn't really matter just as long as you really want these goals your chances of achieving them will significantly increase.
The idea is basic, if you constantly tell yourself things like, “I’ve earned $10,000 this month from trading” or “I’m my marriage is alive and happy and a positive role model for others,” your subconscious begins to respond to that truth. - And you start acting as if it's true.
Goals written in the past tense help you subconsciously transform into someone with the traits necessary to achieve these goals!
